Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I want to thank you all very much for the support and encouragement you provided while I ran in this year's primary against the incumbent, who last week was ultimately re-elected to District 2 Governor's Council in the general election.

Together, you and I worked hard to try to win the primary. Since 2009, I had been getting to know the residents of this vast district by attending town democratic meetings, marching in parades and coming to your homes for coffee with your friends when you were so gracious enough to invite me.

We had established a well-oiled campaign machine, with your help, and succeeded in spreading the word of my candidacy personally, throughout the radio airwaves and via multiple home mailings. We learned quite a bit and hopefully you learned a lot about me.

I want to thank you for all of your assistance leading up to the primary and I hope that we will be able to call on you for assistance again in the next race come 2012.
